(East Hartford, Conn., September 6, 2007) -- Flyington Freighters Private Limited has selected Pratt & Whitney PW4000-100" engines to power their fleet of new A330-200F aircraft. The contract covers installed and spare engines for 12 firm aircraft and an exclusive long-term service agreement provided by Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners. The agreement is valued at more than US$715 million.

"We chose the Pratt & Whitney PW4170 engines because they will provide the best value for our A330 freighter aircraft," said Captain Deepak Parasuraman, Managing Director, Flyington Freighters Private Limited. "The comprehensive engine and service agreement is the right fit to power our fleet expansion."

Flyington will be the launch operator of the Airbus A330 freighter (A330F) variant and the first to fly the PW4000-powered A330F with the AdvantageTM technology upgrade. The AdvantageTM technology upgrade delivers enhanced engine performance, lower fuel consumption, increased durability and reduced maintenance costs. The aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4170 model engines with deliveries beginning in 2009.

"We are extremely proud to power Flyington's fleet of new freighter aircraft," said Mr. Todd Kallman, president of Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines. "The PW4170 with AdvantageTM will offer the best performance and reliability for the A330 family of aircraft. The additional thrust and fuel efficiency provided by the PW4170 make it ideally suited for the A330 freighter."
