Contract has Maximum Value of $100 Million

(San Francisco, May 28, 2008) -- URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that it is one of six firms that has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, to perform remedial actions at environmentally contaminated sites predominately located at Navy and Marine Corps installations and other government sites in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

As the U.S. Navy issues specific task orders under the contract, URS will compete with the other five firms to provide support services, such as remedial actions, removal actions, remedial design, operation and maintenance, pilot and treatability studies, and other related activities. The five-year, multi-award contract has a maximum value of $100 million.

Commenting on the contract, Gary V. Jandegian, President, URS Division, said: "This is another important win for URS, which expands our long-standing relationship with the Navy and underscores our leading position in the environmental services market."
