Embraer and Danajets Close Legacy 600 Jet Sale

The Nigerian airline will also operate with Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets

(Sao Jose dos Campos, July 21, 2008) -- Embraer and Nigeria's DanaJets, a charter division of Dana Airlines, have signed a contract for one Legacy 600 executive jet. The aircraft, in a 13-seat configuration, is scheduled for delivery in late 2009. The value of the deal, at list price, is US$ 26.93 million, based on January 2009 economic conditions. This order is already included in Embraer's second quarter 2008 firm order backlog.

This is the second order by the Nigerian company that announced a deal for three other Embraer executive jets - two Phenom 100s and one Phenom 300 - in November 2007, during the Dubai Airshow. The delivery of the Phenom jets is expected to begin in 2011.
