(Quantico, Virginia, July 24, 2008) -- BAE Systems has won the five-year, $94 million Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) Omnibus Support contract.
Under this indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, BAE Systems will provide the personnel and technical expertise to deliver essential complementary operational test, evaluation, managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps. While the majority of the work will be performed in the Quantico area, testing will occur around the globe.
"This contract will ensure that the Marines receive operationally effective and suitable equipment in a timely manner through this operational test and evaluation activity," said Doug Belair, President of BAE Systems' Technology Solutions & Services business.
